“M…Matthew?” Raivis stared at his friend, who had suddenly fallen to the ground without warning. It really scared him. First off, before Matthew fell, he seemed really angry at Raivis. That made the small boy even more scared. But then, Matthew had just fallen to the ground. Was he hurt? Was he conscious? Was he…dead?
Raivis ignored Nils for a second and knelt down next to Matthew, just staring at him. He knew nothing about medical science. Every time health class came around he always zoned out for fear that they were going to talk about something awkward. Right now, he wished he had paid more attention. But, it didn’t look like Matthew was breathing. That was certain to be a bad thing. He wasn’t cold anymore, either.
The boy got up, looking down at the floor. His camouflage was deactivated quickly, but he didn’t take immediate notice to that. He turned to Nils, his gaze still on the floor. “A-alright. Go,” he said, his voice a bit louder than it normally is. “I-if you tell anyone, you’ll get detention too. We’ll all get detention. A-a-and maybe Matthew will be okay.”
Right then, his mood seemed to change drastically. From how his camouflage was deactivated, he wasn’t scared anymore. But now he was just angry. He balled his hands into fists and grit his teeth, but didn’t move other than that. “G-go. G-get the janitor. N-no matter what you do, good or bad, y-you’ll always be a bastard to me.”
With that, he turned back toward Matthew and sat down next to him, watching him closely. He wished with all his heart that he’d be okay. It wasn’t really apparent before, but now – if someone put the pieces together carefully – they could tell that Raivis kind of liked Matthew. The Canadian was the first and only friend Raivis had in this stupid school, and probably a closer friend than he’s had in other schools too. And if Matthew was dead, God help him he would slit Nils’ throat.
(High off Benedryl. Excuse my probably fail and OOC post.)
