History. It's an amusing subject. It's like looking through the world's diary and reflecting on it to try and not make the same mistakes again (though often times that doesn't work.) Ivan likes the subject, and although he's not as good at it as psychology, he does think of himself as pretty knowledgeable.
He's the first one to arrive in the classroom- even the teacher seemed to have gone elsewhere. It made Ivan feel uneasy, with the inanimate chairs and desks and the incessant sound from the air conditioner being his only company. There were books, lots of them, textbooks and paperbacks, and volumes in many different languages. He wonders if the teacher can actually read in all of those languages, or if that's just for the students who have difficulty in English. Not that Ivan had seen anyone who had any real problem with the language, but it was possible.
Ivan sits down near the back. As much as he would like to sit closer to the front, he would feel bad for anyone who would have to sit behind him, especially if the person was short like that roommate of his (what was his name? Oh yes, Raivis.)
He checks his schedule for the fourth time- da, he was supposed to be here in this period, but nobody had shown up yet. He taps his foot on the ground, wondering if his schedule had a typo or anything. He hoped not, he liked the schedule as it was despite not even knowing who his fellow classmates or his teachers would be. And from the school map, he didn't have to rush back and forth from the classroom (apparently from what he heard, the slower students seemed to end up with farther classrooms while the ones with Super Speed got classes close to each other. Odd.)
Ivan considered leaving the room and seeing whether or not there were people who were coming this way, when he hears the door open and a student come in.
((OOC: Saying that someone comes in a room doesn't count as godmodding or anything, right? :< ))
