It was actually, quite often that Francis found himself wandering aimlessly around the town. Not that he was at a loss of things to do, but more so that he wanted to get to know this town a little better. He had found cute little boutiques, restaurants, liquor stores and just about everything one could imagine a small town having. This place wasn't France, it wasn't home, but still it was pretty good. After all things could be much much worse.
Francis made his way to a sweet shop he had over heard a group of girls talking about. Praising the design and tastes of their treats. Francis had never been one to let such a thing go untested. If the treats were surely good, he alone would be the judge of that. Francis hummed, tugging his french flag themed scarf tighter around his neck. Blue eyes peered around the cobbled ally and he made a pleased noise when he spotted it in the distance. It looked quaint, cute, Francis could only hope it would live up to expectations.
A bell chimed, hitting softly against the door as the Frenchman opened it. Instantly, he was enveloped by the sweet scent of the shop. Cakes, donuts and, oh yes baking bread. Francis loved that smell like no other. He approached the counter, a warm smile on his lips as he ordered. Francis payed, gave a flirtatious wink to the waitress and walked away with a cup of coffee with creme and a slice of banana bread.
Now it was time to decide where to sit. The blonde just couldn't sit alone, no no that wouldn't do. He glanced around the shop, hoping to find a familiar face only to have his heart sink a little when none was found. He just couldn't stand here looking either, he'd just look like a fool. Finally his eyes landed on a blonde mop of hair, sitting alone with a book in hand. Already decided in his mind he made his way over to him. Talking to strangers was a favored past time of his anyway. "May I sit 'ere mon ami?" he slid into the chair across from the stranger. A slight clanking was heard when his dishes tapped against the table. " It looked as z'ough you needed company. "
He adjusted himself on his seat before answering the other boy, pulling his scarf away from the tight space between his chair and his body. With a light smile on his lips he preened himself for a moment, adjusting his clothes to look their best. Finally he turned his eyes on his stranger. "Merci. Iz very kind of you." The boy across from him, was, well, to put it simply, cute. He stuttered, blushed. Obviously a very shy one. It was a shame that he was currently, trying to hide behind a book. He had such a cute face. A face Francis wouldn't mind getting to look at. However, Francis couldn't help but notice how similar the two were in appearance. It was even more so endearing to the Frenchman.
He waved off the others thanks with a flashy, almost lazy movement of his hand. "Iz not'ing." He gave a warm smile. "I just do not like to zee zomeone zo cute eating alone. Zomeone like you is best zeen smileing. " Francis layed on the compliments thick. Warm and heavy the words spilled from his lips like sweet honey. Francis loved to compliment others just as much as he loved to be complimented. From what he could tell about the other, he expected an awkward noise and a blush to form right about now. Inwardly, he chuckled to himself. Just a little harmless teasing. Most loved it anyway. The beautiful deserved to know they were beautiful anyway.
He took a sip of his coffee, using the delicate spoon it came with to stir the milky brown liquid afterwards. Francis took a moment to watch the swirling colors, pleased by the small whirlpool he had created. Blue eyes flicked back up to the Canadian when the boy spoke. Ah yes names, how could he be so rude? The Frenchman extended his hand to the other, a warm smile playing across his lips. " I am Francis, Francis Bonnefoy."

[/color] he introduced himself, decising to ask one more question, seeing as the man didn't seem intimidating at all. Just the opposite. "So what grade are you in?"[/ul]
