Why, oh why did Arthur agree to go to this treacherous place? Not a clue in where he was, and not a idea how long he's been here, this bleeding maze seemed to dreadfully never end. Of course he already told himself that a gentleman would never take a challenge, or a dare at that one, but really now, they were practically begging him to go in and nearly annoying him to the bits. Those bloody, upperclassman...Who in the blazes do they think they were anyway? Saying he couldn't get through alone... Arthur James Kirkland would show those ignorant twits who was right, and who was wrong! This was not neither a dare or an challenge; it was a test to show them who was the real gentleman was! Yes, precisely the reason! Arthur halted his walking through the maze and looked forward as he gazed upon the more and more trees and pathways that began to fall in place.

But oh how did he ever hate the feeling of loneliness, especially in places like this. One way or another, walking alone with no one around you wasn't much of a new thing for Arthur, to be quite honest. At first when he thought of this he sighed looking down at the ground with a hopeless expression on his face; but after a few seconds he then squinted his eyebrows irritately replacing the hopelessness back to his bitter emotion. M-Me?! Hating to be alone? H-Ha! That's a joke, it's better to then being surrounded by reckless idiots you call here a student body! He bluffed to himself in his mind then began to yell aloud. "I-I'm...I'm fine being alone. There is not another way i'd like myself in this....this.. easing tranquility! Forbid me, going ever in a bloody group, i'd be stuck here over days just from hearing various gits spur out useless blasphemy!" Dear god was he lying to himself even more, now. The trees were clouding overing him, the maze seemed endless, and the only noises he could hear was mumbles from outside the boundaries and his own footsteps. He now knew that you musn't ever go alone, and always take a buddy. Like the teachers would always tell them too. He looked down again at the floor stopping again. But who'd go with me...

Looking back around his surroundings twice, he checked slyly to see if no one was around. Obviously, who would be around, he hadn't heard a noise in over 10 minutes, already. But just to make sure he lowered his head and mumbled something out of his mouth lowly so no one would hear, only enough to know that he was casting out a spell. "In my mind I see you here, in my pain I need you near..." He looked back again cautiously hurriedly trying to finish the rest. "Find me, trace me, where I be..."[/i] The brit closed his eyes finally letting the last of the spell slip out of his tongue. "Come here, Come here now to me!" And suddenly he forced them open again, backed up, and peered at his surroundings.

The reason why he casted that spell, was not in any reason because he felt alone-- i-it was the opposite. If he was lucky enough the person who would found him would get him the hell out of here, fast. Of course he would of probably known his way by himself if he tried, yes, oh oh, of course he knows. He'd know the way back out, coming from where he went in. He looked up again, grumbling. He just thought... It'd be better for someone else to do the tedious work instead. Yeah. T-That's all.

UM IF U DIDNT GET WTF I JUST SAID, basically some older dudes dared poor artie to go in the maze alone and now he's fucking lost and he didn't want to be lonely anymore wants to gtfo out so he casted a quick spell that makes people go his direction~

oh and basically the maze is liek... those.. survivor forest types. y'know with the berries, and the camping, whatnot. yeah, we suffer children.

Raivis had run in to the maze, hoping to escape the flood of emotions. He just wasn't used to it, he supposed. After a few years of being home-schooled he really didn't know if he could handle the sudden onslaught.

And to tell the truth, he was enjoying the silence of the maze. It was quiet, no one around to influence his emotions. That always made him content enough.

Just as he was really getting in to the groove of wandering mindlessly, Raivis thought he heard a quiet whisper. Something call him. After that, he felt a slight tugging--or was it pushing?--Something bringing him in a direction. It wasn't harsh or painful, but it was persistent. Shrugging, he just went with it. After all, he was on school grounds, what could go wrong?

Well, an overwhelming feeling of loneliness could. And he also noticed that the tugging--or pushing-- was taking him in that direction. He didn't like the headache it was giving him, but at least he might be able to help someone. Or something.

He really didn't know anymore

Soon enough he turned a corner and saw a blond adolescent, not much older than himself. "Oh h-h-hello." he mumbled, wondering if this person was the cause of the tugging--or pushing. Probably. The loneliness was coming straight from him.

His idea to explore the entire school grounds, including the maze, in one day was not Lukas’ best idea, now that he looked back on it.

For starters, the maze was huge. The trees rose up around him on every side, and the thick covering of leaves dyed the ground green and cut out any sight of the sun, making him unable to tell what the time was, and therefore how long he had been in the maze. That was very disorienting, and the lack of control he had over this situation was getting to him. The mish-mash of items he had brought with him when he had set out at the start of the day – a book or two, some food, a drink and a torch in case it got dark – really weren’t that useful for getting out of the maze, either, unless he had decided very early on to be like Hansel and Gretel. (Which, you know, he hadn’t.)

The idea of exploring had come as a by-product of boredom, a desire to escape the crowds and an attempt to placate his curiosity. He had started off in the combat dojo and hadn’t hung around long in case he was roped into fighting, and had moved on after that to the main grounds, the track field and, finally at about lunch time, the maze. He had entered not really knowing what to expect, only having heard tales of it from upperclassmen, and even those in his own or lower years who had been unfortunate enough to enter it. It had been alright to begin with, but then the trees started to look very similar to the ones he had seen a few minutes ago, and a few minutes before that, and hadn’t he seen that rock before? And then he was lost.

His troll was floating along behind him, not really saying much, as was the usual, only tapping Lukas on the shoulder from time to time to remind him that he was still there, and to tell him to go in a different direction to the one Lukas had been planning on. Lukas felt the fact that the troll was with him qualified as him ‘entering with a buddy’, but he was not sure how the teachers would take it, seeing as he was the only person who could actually see his troll.

Lukas dodged stepping in a pool of mud (that he was fairly certain contained something more deadly than mud alone) and found himself at a junction in the trees. He paused briefly, and was about to take the left path (which he thought he saw light at the end of) when he felt an almost… compulsion to walk to the right. He raised an eyebrow at the pull, turning to his troll. “Do you feel that?”

“I do,” the troll replied, slowly. “Follow it.”

Lukas nodded and turned down the right path, letting the strange feeling pull him in directions he would not have thought to take. Through these trees, over that bush, beyond that thing that looks like a scorpion…

Eventually, he came to a halt, the feeling dying away. Beyond the tree in front of him stood two blond boys, one of whom he recognised as being in his year, the other he did not. He stepped out from behind the tree and walked towards them.

“Hello,” he said, if only to make his presence known. He folded his arms and looked between them. Which of them had caused the pulling?

Too much was Arthur dealing at the time now. As he'd rather enjoy the infrequent stroll, he despised the constant walking. It was undesiring and both unpleasing to be captured here for so, so long. The call he had spoken not too long ago took minutes, so at the end, to him it was just another example saying not even a spell can cure his endless solitude.

So, when he persisted his walk in the trail, almost giving up on nearly everything, just to say the bloody hell with it about to blow the whole forest up, because that's what the true gentleman do he found bumping in himself with a something, (or was it a someone? He really wasn't paying attention..) making him back up a bit and shake his head with an even more irked expression. Today really just wasn't one of Arthur's best of days.

"Dammit!" The British teen yelled out with a even less chuffed face. "W-Whatever the bloody hell you are you better watch where you going next ti--" Arthur immediately stopped his rambles after looking at the other in realization. "Eh?"

It was just another boy walking through the forest too, he would estimate. Strange, that he was alone too, and looked more less as of troubling as Arthur did himself. You'd think just from his trembling statue he'd be accompined by someone because really-- how old was this boy, was he a freshman? He'd be most likely younger then Arthur, that was at least was blatant enough. Wonder if he's lost, as well... So, to make sure he didn't look like too much of a loner fool to him once the opposite male spoke, he cleared his throat and tried to look more mature and less frustrated. "I-I mean ah-- yes, em...E-Evening! Guessing your here r...relaxing out here as well, now are you?"

This defiantly was not starting well with him, at all. Lying was one thing that wasn't one of his good points, and what he really wanted was to get out of here as fast as he could, not entertain some bloke with a useless conversation. But he couldn't ask this boy, no. I-It'd be embarrassing. He refused to! But at least now, he wasn't as alone now, even if he was going to be still lost.

And just to make it even more swell and less stressing, from heavens knows where, another gent, one he'd see in his grade level sometimes, popped from behind almost endeavering a jump from Arthur out of surprise hearing the voice, and almost egad raising a brow once he saw the floating thing behind him like some sort of pet. At first, he would of most likely screamed or shrieked at such mass, but truth be told seeing things like that weren't as out of ordinary for the Brit, and he'd like to keep not being in trouble with anybody of the group, so he could get out quicker...Even if both of them did look harmless. So he simply turned away from it fast, looking back at the newer male, like he didn't even see it. Yet, he still wondered. D-Did the summoning spell actually work?

"A-Ah--Evening as well to you, chap." Arthur said with a attempting easing grin and the nod of the head. "I'm...guessing today was just the day to fancy the forest, i'm supposing...Ahahah."

Raivis couldn't help but shrink away from Arthur's initial hostility. Wasn't he just feeling lonely a moment ago? It was quite strange to the boy. Oh, he was just surprised. The hostility quickly faded, to be replaced with the uneasiness that comes with lying when he spoke a second time.

Yep, this guy was definitely lost.

Shifting his his weight, Raivis tried to come up with a reply. He was horrible when it came to talking to people, especially those easily irritable. In fact, he could feel a headache coming on already.

"I s-s-s-suppose s-so..." He mumbled, looking overall awkward and uncomfortable. He couldn't say he was enjoying this so far. Even though he didn't mind helping people, he really preferred being alone. Things were so much easier that way.

Upon seeing the new addition to their group, Raivis waved shyly. He looked to be about the same age as his bushy-browed companion. The new stranger seemed bored somewhat, and maybe a little curious. Oh well. At least neither of them were angry or too aggitated.

The blonde from his year definitely had a strange reaction to him.

Lukas raised an eyebrow. He hadn’t thought he would have made him jump that much. The trees weren’t exactly wide enough to hide his presence from anyone. And, if he had not know better, he would have sworn that the quick glance over Lukas’ shoulder and the swift way he turned away meant that he had seen the troll, but no one saw the troll, so Lukas was probably reading too much into it.

Still, what was he so on edge for? There was nothing in the forest that would actually harm them, not severely (Lukas hoped), so there was no need for the guy to be so jumpy. Maybe he’s stressed, Lukas thought. It wasn’t an implausible suggestion. If he was alone in this forest, possibly dragged around by a compulsion the same way Lukas was, he would have every reason to be stressed or nervous.

The other, younger boy simply looked uncomfortable, he noticed, shifting from one foot to the other. Lukas waved back at him, his thoughts towards him softening somewhat. Poor kid, out in the forest on his own. He hoped that he was going to be ok, the kid looked like he could pass out at any second if someone spooked him.

He looked towards the blonde in his year again, who was now addressing him. So it was evening was it? He had been in here longer than he thought. Lukas would have pegged it as afternoon, at the latest.

“The forest seemed interesting. This day was as good as any other to explore,” Lukas replied.

“Be nice,” the troll whispered to him, touching him on the shoulder. Lukas didn’t give any acknowledgement to this aside from a subtle roll of his eyes, but he admitted to himself he may have come across as a bit accusatory. There was no need to be so hard on these two. They might not be idiots, after all, and once they got out of the forest, they might leave him be. He just hoped they weren’t too loud.

He wondered for a minute if he should ask if either of them knew what brought them here, but decided against it, working with the assumption that if either of them knew they would say or bring it up in conversation.
