Welcome to the plotting thread for Sidekick Mattie. He's a 10th grader with...uh...not quite the all-knowing power of a telepathic connection with his past & future selves. So it is quite possible he'd know things about people that he hasn't officially learned in the present yet.

I was curious about how you'd see relations between Matt and Francis. Ideas?

To Charlotte: They're sidekicks, the same age and same grade. I imagine they'd encounter/pass each other somewhat often so them meeting while headed toward some class would make sense. Or leaving said class the same time at lunch-time and end up having lunch together.


To Francis: How open Francis' is would intimidate Matthew slightly but not enough it'd drive him off. Matthew would like Francis' positive influence and probably would even feel somewhat safe if you wanted Francis to be protective of him. Besides if Francis ever used that Siren Song on Matthew it could, perhaps, be the one time all his past, present and future thoughts went quiet.

Hmm...that could have the potential of making one of his headaches go away too. There's quite a lot of fun plot potential between them.

Makes sense~. Mmm... Francis, if you didn't know, is absolutely adamant against using his ability because of his past. But honestly, if Matthew asked for him to help with his headaches... Well, that would be very interesting to thread~.

Matthew wouldn't ask for help on the first time meeting...once it sank in that it was the first time. Nor would he ask unless the headache had gotten bad. But other than those factor it's possible he'd ask eventually.

Spending lunch together sounds like plan~! They could sit together because there weren't any empty tables in the Cafe. Unless you'd like for them to eat outside?

Mattie prefers eating outside even if there are empty tables. So if that would work then we can get a thread started.

To Charlotte: Which of us could get around to starting it first? I know I won't be available for getting it out until probably over the weekend. If you've time before then I'd not mind you starting the thread.


To Francis: I'm fine with them already knowing each other. Do you have any preference for where the thread would occur?


To Lars: Hmm. Given Matthew's fear of enclosed space and Lars' power they'd probably encounter, or have encountered, each other somewhere around the plants outside Asher Academy. At least that's what first leaps out at me for thread ideas from looking over Lars' information. Second thing that does is that he looks like he'd be fun posting with, so Mattie'd definitely be game for more ideas than just the plants one.

Sounds good. Could perhaps do threads where they first meet, and perhaps threads where thy hang out and study together stuff like that could work too.

To Lars: Hmm. In that case when they first meet Mattie would know a few things about Lars. Like his name and maybe more. Oh the fun that can be had with his power...there are probably a few things that'd come up during the studying sometimes.
