The class just ended. The ringing of the school bell was still echoed in the halls when Nesia already stepped out of the building. She stood still on the grassy area, letting the sunlight warmed her body. Oh, how she had been missed this weather; the heat, the blinding sunlight, the feel of grass under her bare feet! Especially after being trapped in a cold classroom trying to comprehend what she should count if substance A was poured into a tube filled with substance B. She was unable to stay awake until the end of the lecture.
Nesia took off her shoes and socks, doing exactly what was just crossed her mind. The girl giggled, feeling the warm grass tickled her skin. It felt nice to be outside right now, instead of sitting in the library doing the chemistry homework the teacher had assigned to her class. Well, homework can be done later. If the due date is not tomorrow, then she shouldn't have to do it immediately.
As what she wanted to do at the moment... Nesia needed to train her power. In this hectic week, she barely got a chance to be alone and still had some energy left. The Indonesian tend to forget about her surroundings once she was deeply into the dance. It wasn't uncommon finding stones lodged into the walls or ceiling afterwards, making it impossible to train in her dorm room.
She could hear the faint voices of other students leaving their classrooms, probably heading to the cafeteria or the sport fields. Some of them might be heading to the courtyard. Nesia felt awkward if others saw her dancing, therefore the junior looked for a rather hidden spot so she can dance freely. Maybe behind that pine tree would do. Several bushes surrounded the tree, providing some privacy. Humming, Nesia threw her shoes to under a bush and put her bag on a low branch.
Counting the beat and humming louder, the Indonesian student took a deep breath. She raised her hands and began to dance. The soil around her shook lightly, making the bushes bounced up and down. As she danced faster, small stones and pebbles were thrown to every direction. At this point, Nesia usually would stop. But the bushes hindered her sight, and the girl, unaware of the projectiles she made, keep dancing faster and faster...
